    Used oil containers?

My F-250 holds 15 quarts so I went to Walmart and bought a 16 quart combo drain pan/oil jug. After draining I screw the lid on and leave it sitting around until I remember to take it to the recycle joint. Doesn't leak, easy peasy. For my 8 quart Mustang I use a smaller drain pan and then dump it...

    Urethane removal

In my limited experience with this I've found that if you scratch the epoxy it really shows when you apply the urethane. Looks like a$$ if that happens so be careful.

Racedeck (or comps) vs Epoxy vs Polish Cement

Epoxy and Race Deck and to a lesser degree porcelain tile are popular choices among members of this forum probably because all are relatively easy for the DIYer if they follow installation recommendations and they do a good job of covering floors in poor condition and look fantastic if properly...

    Garage floor needs traction

Grinding would certainly add some tooth but I would worry about increased stain absorption if you don't plan to coat it with something right away. You could put some type of rubber mat on the traffic areas instead of grinding the floor before you're ready for what ever treatment you finally...

    Bob's your uncle

I was gobsmacked to read someone on the West Coast had never heard of Bob's your uncle. I've lived my whole life on the West Coast and the term is as old as dirt. In fact I'm nearly that age myself. :lol_hitti

    Favorite Mop

I've mopped tens of thousands of square feet of concrete, VCT and tile floors. This old retired Navy guy I worked for 45 years ago showed me how to mop a floor. First you need a quality, pro grade string mop and good down press wringer and bucket (with wheels). The side press wringers don't work...

A little winter project to clean up a bit

Just buy a piece of square tubing and cut into the lengths of the receivers. You don't need all the reinforcement at the edge and the through hole just to hang a hitch on the wall.

My Epoxy floor! Legacy Industrial Review (lots of pics)

If it's any help I used pretty much the same products as the OP. My floor is one year newer than his and it still looks great. It's all in the prep (quality products help too).
