Bench testing a GM radio in the shop?

I've got a radio in a GMC Acadia I want to hook up for bench testing. (AM/FM/CD/Satellite/Aux) Does anyone know of something called a bit controller that I'll need to do so? Possibly a sat antenna too? Wondering if this will actually work outside the car.

    Show off your old signs

Inspired by the Dennis Leigh Henry's post, I made this sign on photoshop and it now hangs on my toolbox.

Looking For WEED KILLER For Gravel Driveway.

I for one am glad you did. Of course we all know there's a right way to do things. But the "oh yeah, this'll do it" moments are super fun sometimes. Mr. Wetblanket would be horrified if I do declare. I use the Ortho Ground Clear. But not the pre-mix. It ***** hard. Especially when you mix it...

Anyone have a garage door screen?

I don't have a picture handy, but I bought the Home Depot ones for about $150 each.(Zipperless) Very nice quality except the cheap velcro it came with. Throw it away! I had the idea to use long shower rods vertically on the sides to hold the tension but they were way expensive. I found brand...

Any ideas as to what this is for?

It looks like it's supposed to hold legal documents. But I see you're in CA.

    Morton buildings, hard to contact?

I am beyond pleased with the product, and it was delivered on time. So I guess I got the 2 of 3 thing. My issue is with the freeloaders that do only as much as they care to do because they don't think anybody is tracking it. Document your complaint(s) to the local office, If they don't ever do...

    Morton buildings, hard to contact?

The answer is simply No. Easy to contact. Getting a response is a whole other thing. It always depends on how the person you talk to nowadays cares to do their job. I had a great couple of Morton guys take care of my build mainly due to a territorial issue issue that arose from inside Morton...

This is how you install an outdoor 110 outlet 400 feet away

I like this. If the 10g wire is too expensive, this sounds like the best alternative.

Yes, that IS the plan. I only intend to use the data wire for my video stream. That's what I've been doing and it's fine. I just don't have power at this one location as I do with the others. I have extra long runs on several cameras that already have power at their location. I have a B/W low...

I run my cameras over Cat5. I don't use coax. A few places I even feed two cameras + power over one Cat5. I've found I get more distance that way as long as I have power already there.

Thanks man. I do tend to overbuild. That's why I'm not only a member here, I'm also a client

No not wireless. Not siamese or transgender either. I want the versatility as time moves on too knowing that particular outlet's limitations.
