    Running subpanel to attached Garage

    I actually probably don't need 100 amps. Probably won't need 90 amps either. For interior lighting, I have: 4x - 2'x4' 2 bulb T8 Troffer lights, 2x - 60 watt bulbs, may add 2 more troffers For exterior, I have: 1x - Pole light with 3 40 watt bulbs 2x - dual 90 watt flood lights 2x - 60 watt...

    Running subpanel to attached Garage

For the breaker, I was thinking 100 amp, just to future-proof it size wise. For wire size, I would guess #3 or #4 cu would work for this. Thanks for the comment about derating the wires. I think I would prefer to use romex and then just use conduit for protection out of the panel up to the...

    Running subpanel to attached Garage

Got it on clearance a while ago and have it on hand is the reasoning. I have an indoor one too, but figured since there was a chance an errant hose could splash it, the outdoor was a better choice. The indoor run from panel will be roughly 35-45 feet in the basement, then 6-8 feet in the garage.

    Running subpanel to attached Garage

ok, looking for a little help on this. I have an attached garage I would like to put a subpanel in, and re-wire all items there to it. I have this panel already: http://www.homedepot.com/p/GE-PowerMark-Gold-125-Amp-8-Space-16-Circuit-Outdoor-Main-Lug-Circuit-Breaker-Panel-TLM812RCUP/202046230...

    Air Compressor Replacement motor/pump question

yeah, the plan was to have it supported on the original base. The craftsman compressor had a hanging tension mount for the motor, whereas the RAND had it mounted to the frame. The base on the rand pump is smaller, so ifI use the wood, I can get everything to fit.

    Air Compressor Replacement motor/pump question

I am assuming that this will be ok, but I have a craftsman air compressor, 20Gal horizontal tank, that the pump is bad on. I also have a compressor setup from a 20Gal Rand compressor that the tank went bad on. I would like to swap the main parts from the Rand to the Craftsman tank. The issue is...

Ok, I have an attached garage that i would like to run 220V power to for a pool Pump and air compressor. First, what I have: - I have 220V breaker space in the panel that was for a window AC unit that I will be repurposing. It's 20amp I believe. - I have a 3/4 hp hayward Superpump in the...

    Flooring for temporary living quarters

If you plan to remove it, i would look into an RV or Travel Trailer as suggested. It's already self contained, has everything you'd need, and when you are done, you can sell it or go camping.

Picked up an old Craftsman Tablesaw. Couple Questions

Well, I listed it locally just to see if there would be interest, and it left today. Going to a gentleman who plans to restore it and build a Craftsman 50th anniversary gold workshop with it. Said he had a few other pieces of the same vintage and color already. Was glad to it went to a good...

    The Concrete Underground

Came in here to see the progress, as this is a great build. Just found the link about the abandoned house in NY, which turns out to be 10 minutes from me

Picked up an old Craftsman Tablesaw. Couple Questions

Interesting thoughts. I was able to find a used 9" blade at the tool thrift shop near me, so I have a spare. I'm considering selling this at the moment because it's kinda in the way and I have another saw already setup for projects. Was considering getting a dado set for this and running it...

Picked up an old Craftsman Tablesaw. Couple Questions

I picked up this table saw because I liked the old base, and considered replacing my slightly newer one with it, since I like the style better. However, this one appears to be a 9" model, not a 10", and 9 inch blades are hard to come by. The motor was not original, but that was fine for me...

    Ford COE Kustom

COE looks great. I saw you mentioned V12. I know it's a good deal away from you, but it is also 2 Flathead V12's and a complete car: http://rochester.craigslist.org/cto/5669510145.html

    Lifting my shop??

This isn't a pole barn, but I recall seeing this video a few years ago. Guy was local to me at the time. Plus his IH was something to see.
