    Creeper/Roller seats

For that style get the HF one and use locktite to hold the wheels on. There are much better ones on the market but for occasional homeowner use they aren't worth the cost.

Buying my first 1/2" Impact Wrench

Disclaimer, I didn't read the whole thread. Looks like OP is in a foreign country, so pricing info here in the US is worthless. Best bang for buck is typically the IR 231 extended anvil. Not a whole lot of power, but will do car and light truck lugs all day long and take lots of abuse. The...

Installing a 220v outlet in the garage

You'll find Nema 6-50 on many welders. Assuming the motor on the grinder has its own overload protection you could just have the one outlet and swap as needed.

    what is this wrench for?

Not uncommon to find tools like that with pieces of equipment. The size fits whatever hex typically needs adjusted or whatever. Similar to the AMMCO wrenches used on brake lathes for the four main sizes.

    Jumper packs, full size or...?

The JNC660 is pretty much the industry standard jump pack. That's what I use and recommend. I do stack it with a little lithium ion jump pack on the second battery of larger trucks.

Do you own Push pin pliers?

Have the pliers, and the little remover pry bar things for them. When that doesn't work side cuts or torch them out.

Nomination for "Worst Automotive Maintenance Feature Ever"

A lot of cars have gone to removing the front bumpers for many repairs. Honestly after you're first few its not all that bad with a lift. Kind of like putting a fuel pump in a truck. Why bother dropping the tank when you can pull the bed? IMO the access panels through the wheel wells are pretty...

    You tube tool review videos

Personally I'd like to see some destructive testing. Tool durability is one of my top priorities. I think Real Tool Reviews sometimes breaks things down a bit to far, and sometimes states the obvious. He definitely does a thorough job, but I find his videos a bit rough to get through. I'd like...

    Preset torque wrenches

Any torque wrench is going to need calibrated at some point. You have to decide how critical the item being torqued really is. The main use of a preset torque wrench is production environments where the engineer doesn't want the operator dicking with something they shouldn't. From my time in the...

    Air Impacts are DEAD

Its more expensive, heavier, slower, less powerful, & bulkier than my air gun. Not to mention the boss supplies the air and I have to supply my own batteries. Sorry, but air is far from dead. Might make sense in the home shop and for some uses in the pro shop, but I don't see it as a total...

Advice for ball joint press kit

OTC Super Set is around $315 and will do most anything. That's the main set I use. Buying the OTC basic press and Astro adapter set will get you something similar for $160. Alternatively you can get the Astro Master Kit which is basically the same as OTC's Super Set $115. For personal use...

How do you do ...tire rotation?

Lift one end up pop the stands under. Pull the jack to the other end and pick that end up. Tripod it. No concern of the jack collapsing as you shouldn't be under the vehicle for a rotation. Quickest and easiest way to do it with what you have. Safest way is to go pay a shop the $20 or buy your...
