I am a Makita guy. I got the XCU06Z 10" saw. It is perfect for small limbs and trimming trees around the yard. Because it only has one battery it is lightweight. It has all the power I need. If I am cutting anything bigger I will get the gas saw out. Haven't had to yet though.
I have the Milwaukee M12 3/8" and 1/4" ratchets for working on my cars. They are great especially for tight areas. My brother in-law has them as well and is a retired mechanic. He does side work and said he hardly uses his air tools any more. Most of my cordless stuff is Makita 18volt, but I...
I assume they are all fixed windows. They should be sitting in a rabbet with stops on the outside. If the glass is rattling and air is coming through there is no caukling in them or the putty glaze has dried up and hardened. I would remove the stops and glass , caulk the rabbet and put the glass...
211 is great welder for home hobby use. Plus it’s light enough to take it somewhere if needed. Got mine from Cyberweld. Very happy with it and Cyberweld.Buy it and you won’t need another welder unless you start welding big stuff.

I just picked this one up today . It might be the oldest at 7-54. Paid top dollar for it but it will last me forever . Just need to find the missing parts . I was looking for a block grinder and stumbled on this pre block thread . Realized this one was a pre block 1/2 hp so I jumped on it ...
Great little bandsaw for most hobby shop projects. I wouldn't do any major resaw work on it though. Cant go wrong for that price. I own a closed base and open base version. Congratulations!
Use your 2x6 ceiling joists and collar ties. Nail it with a framing gun using 16d nails. Use hurricane straps and anchor to top plate as best you can in amount of space you have to work in. Space these 16" or 24" on center and this will hold fine. If you wanted even more support add 2x4's to...
There is no great repair out there for damaged plastic laminate counter tops. Kampel Seamfil is what is pros use when trying to hide imperfections. I have also used markers for light scratches. Nothing will totally hide it ,only try and make it less noticeable. If that's not acceptable then...
