Modifications to the HF 4 and 5 drawer service carts - what changes have you made?

I use mine all the time when I roll the cart out and use it to work on the car. Otherwise I keep it folded away.

Modifications to the HF 4 and 5 drawer service carts - what changes have you made?

I went the cutting route, buried deep in this thread, but it is not a permanent change in operation. You slip off the black cover, cut the bars flush with the housing using either a vibrating cutter or small, fine angle cutter. Save the pieces you cut off and place the caps back on the bars...

He has posted updates in other places. He's pretty busy at the moment from his last few posts I've seen. I'm sure he will get back in here when he catches up.

    The Milwaukee addiction thread! :)

Had to send my Dad's 3/8 Fuel ratchet in for repair over the weekend. Got it for him for Christmas and he had only used it twice. It stopped turning anything with the slightest tension on it. You could hold a socket in your hand and it wouldn't turn it forward or reverse. Kind of...

I think I'd rather use my Milwaukee packout system for out of vehicle service. You can use multiple small boxes and only take out what is needed. With this cart you'd be dealing with some sort of ramp system.

We should be coming up on the unlimited 15% coupon. It's been almost a year since I bought my tool boxes.

Where'd you get the Koken from? I've been on the fence about getting some for awhile and I think the Extra is what I want to start with.

    Harbor Freight Coupon Thread

You think the aluminum is going to break? Please... I've used this jack on everything from an F250 and Suburban, down to a Buell Ulysses on a custom lifting sled. It's not a lift, it's a jack. You won't be jacking up your entire vehicle with it. And yes, the jack gets lifted into a trunk if...

    Harbor Freight Coupon Thread

Not sure why everyone is so crazy about those heavy *** steel Daytona jacks. The Pittsburgh aluminum jacks are best ones they have. That's why a coupon for them is super rare. I've had the 2 ton for at least 17 years now. I wouldn't give up the weight difference to have the long reach. I've...

I've been quite happy with the Orbi Tri-band 3 pack system, whatever it's called. In a 4,000 square foot box house it provides my current max internet speeds of 200/200 at any point inside. My neighbors asked why mine has a stronger signal in their house than their own does. The 3 pack is...

Got my 2 pack of M12 CP3.0 from HD sale in today. That takes care of M12 battery needs as I have a few of each size now.

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Rerouted 6 Cat6 lines from the stupid box they install in closets of newer homes now to the actual office. Had to run out through the attached garage and back in at the office. Used PVC for the first time. Still have to finish up the fire sealant and moving everything in the house from a...

I actually like the style of the new compact tool box. That seem more usable to me where I just need to take in a drill or driver and some small tool occasionally. The regular flat box just always seems a bit large in the wrong way. I'll wait for a sale though.
