I am finally at the point where I can put up my wall art in my new garage. This is the first time that I am hanging tin signs and banners on finished drywall and am curious if there is a cleaner way than using nails.
Looking for ideas.
I ordered through Contractor's Commercial last month and although it took almost 3 weeks longer than promised (I was told that everything was in stock and would ship within 2 days) they always responded to my phone calls and online chats. That made the waiting a little easier to tolerate.
I placed my order for my Maxlite fixture/James tubes from ContractorsCommerical yesterday. Fixture and tubes went up by a $1.00 each and the shipping charge sucked but it was still considerably less than any option I could find locally.
I am keeping my fingers crossed that the stuff shows up...
Thanks Platonic. Your assistance is greatly appreciated.
I tried changing my model with the layout that you provided but my Isoplot isn't as even as yours. Did you tweak something in my model besides the fixture layout?
Is there any advantage if we move the fixtures from the side walls from 1ft...
Not sure if this is the proper place to ask for assistance or if I should have started a new thread so please let me know if this isn't the right place.
After many hours of tutorials on Youtube and lots of redos I think that I have something that represents my shop in Dialux Evo.
So I have...
Is anyone using Dialux Evo to plan their garage lighting using the recommended James LED combination from Platonic Solid?
If so what photometric IES file are you using? I've downloaded the IES file from the James Lighting site but they appear as small cube fixture on my layout rather than the...
I'm slowly learning how to use Dialux Evo to figure out my lighting requirements on my new shop. I finally got some entered that resembles my building and have some lights installed, but I can't seem to figure out how to get the isoplot that Platonic Solid shows in his garage layouts.
Can...
I have changed the orientation of the valve since reading in the manual that it must be placed vertically in the system. The above picture of the entire layout was an old picture to demonstrate where I wanted to route any water/steam exiting the valve.
Like this? I originally planned to mount the valve horizontal in order to achieve my goal but then I finally decided to read the boiler manual where it clearly states the valve must be installed vertically. Duh!
It is on the outlet side and I fully intend to use a union on the piping so that I can disconnect the pipe and easily remove the valve if it ever needs to be replaced.
I would like to pipe the valve over the boiler and down the opposite side of the boiler away from all the other plumbing.
