    Nope. The big ball gripping part would aid people with weak hands. You wouldn't have to stay and keep twisting. This item would spin the screw out/in for you. All you had to do was tighten/untighten. Thanks again - Joe

    That ratcheting screwdriver thread is so close! Really makes me wonder if I'm thinking of the "ratchet" vs twisting spring loaded idea. 70 yrs ago, both would have been fairly new for sure. Thanks again. Sleep tonight.

    Does anyone remember an old (as I remember) round handled screwdriver that was spring loaded? Seems like it was primarily for removing screws once they were loosened up. Thanks - Joe
