The Cobra. The Cobra is a Factory Five replica with a 427. My Cobra was built from all new parts. Factory Five deluxe kit, 427 crate motor, and Tremec 600 series 5-speed. She is a blast to drive. Just make sure you have it pointed in the direction you want to go when you punch it!

We broke ground on the foundation in Feb. of 2014. My contractor told me it would take 6-8 wks. to finish the building. They lied... We got our final inspection in Nov. of 2014. At that point I had a completed building that was finished (sheetrock and painted) inside and painted on the outside...

Herb, the drill presses are easy rebuilds. Usually they take standard bearings that are readily available. I rebuilt mine with new bearings and a repaint. I showed it to a friend recently, and he commented that you can hardly hear it run. A lot of the new drill presses rattle, shake, and walk...

zkling, the couch is on wheels so I can roll it out into the garage area during serious machine shop work. Thanks for the compliment on the Cobra!

Thanks Guys! I'm a machinist and artist. Glad to finally get my little home shop up and running. I have the Logan 14" lathe, and the Bridgeport mill both of which got rewired with Hitachi VFD's to run on 220V single phase power. That's the only way to power machines off 220V single phase power...
