chop the legs shorter so it sits closer to the ceiling, then you can hang stuff underneath it as well

    insulating a steel building

This isnt the best idea, but... I did a nickaloadeon show a few years back and the production company decided to shoot in a portable style metal building instead of a sound stage. When they asked us to put up sound dampening/insulation, we used a **** ton of furniture moving pads and chicken...

    Does Insulation Brand Even Matter?

Like forcefed said, brand doesn't matter, just the type you need. attic, wall, floor, etc are different in little ways. I just had the attic done, it was bare clean up there, and made a HUUUUUUGE difference. If you can, go bigger. thicker the better. I suggest fiberglass for attic, cause you can...

how do you guys service your cars

Oil can be messy, but take your time, get a drain pan and keep rags near by, oil on the driveway can be washed away with a pressure washer I use a jack and jackstands to get under the cars. get yourself a 3 1/2 or 4 ton jack. dont bother with the little jacks, they are good for additional use...

What's your favorite red for a car?

I like red with a hint of purple added to it, that way at night it still looks red and not orange.

Talk to me about ladder storage

either stash the ladder outside with a chain locked around it or do the pulley system to the ceiling, just dont use cheap rope, buy some nice sailor line and some climbing pulleys. if you tie a tight clove hitch around the ladder it will not fall. it would look pretty bad *** all done up right

What do you use for sound in your garage/shop

have a nice sony 5 disc CD changer. and ran the speakers up towards the top corners of the garage, cause from there the music can throw farther and if I'm talking to someone in the garage the sound is above us and not blasting at face level. :)

    Drum brake question

the wifes car was doing something similar, I made sure the shoes were backed off enough so they were not touching or near the drum, even though most my old cars required them to be almost touching the drum. rusty springs can be an issue. I always go with new springs whenever old ones are rusty...
