With that style, I'd go spray foam.

I spray foamed mine, and it sealed it up great! No wind loss, air movement, etc. And it really helped quiet down the shop in terms of movement, rain against it, and sound going outside.

I guess the big question with the "half a culvert" (as my neighbor refers to them) is whether you install the mechanicals first and spray over the EMT, unistrut, air piping, etc, or do you attempt to do it afterwards.

My thinking here is that you mount the unistrut, and a few other critical pieces that will require either picking up the stud end of the bolts that hold the building together, or require you to put additional bolts/screws thru the steel from the outside, then spray, then finish up the work. Quite truthfully I see it being a mess anyway you go about it.

This isnt the best idea, but...
I did a nickaloadeon show a few years back and the production company decided to shoot in a portable style metal building instead of a sound stage. When they asked us to put up sound dampening/insulation, we used a **** ton of furniture moving pads and chicken wire. not sure how effective it was but we did it.
