Maybe I'm losing it, but does anyone know why my thread about solving a strange Scissor Lift issue would be deleted? (I know it sat for at least a day without a response. Is that a reason?) I'll repost it but was hoping there were some ideas in it.
Thanks guys
Thanks for the reply!
I guess to be more specific, I am asking about their 'intended use' or certification rather. Not a guess on how leaky a garage is.
I will phone the company and see what they say. Stay tuned (Although I suspect they will say not for enclosed spaces for liability...
Thanks. I'm aware of the sealed issue, although I'd say it's sealed as well as the rest of the house (attached garage, not some slanty pole barn).
What I can't figure out is if these are meant to be run with the garage door shut or not, since it mentions how much combustion air needed right in...
Which one are you using? Where in Canada?
I don't suppose you had it inspected (Not that I care directly about that, I'm wondering if there is some regulation about separated combustion).
So all these people on this board that are using a Maxx heater.. Are they cracking a door?! When they say...
Hi guys! Sorry, I see a few threads regarding the Mr. Heater Maxx heaters (50K or thereabouts for my 2-2.5 car garage), but nothing that covers my concern.
I understand about explosion risks with a 'non separated' heater, and that doesn't really concern my (I just usually turn wrenches. If I...
Yes. I have not read a single review where they claim the coverage is as expected.
I wanted to go with the Rocksolid, but some were claiming it took them 6-8 kits for a 2 car garage....
Hi there, thanks for the reply.
Yes I will be acid etching. My question was more regarding if 100% solids is ever reduced to be used as a primer before applying at full viscosity.
I have already extensively looked into the vendors here. It is too expensive now that our dollar has taken a...
Hi guys. Covered my garage in Resurfacer (It was pockmarked) and purchased a bunch of kits of 100% Epoxy (Nothing special. From a local retailer in Canada. I ordered them in).
There is nothing about using a primer.
I know on cars, we can use reducer on epoxy and spray it as a primer/sealer...
Well I'm not paying someone to do it, but if a skim coat can chip off, that sounds pretty bad too.
I COULD just patch each individual piece of aggregate that is missing. The problem is, by the time I do that, I may as well just should have had some runny concrete mix of some sort and squeegeed...
No worries! Almost debating trying Quikrete Resurfacer, although I've never heard anything good! hah! Of course, what' sthe worst thing that happens, I have uneven, pitted concrete afterwards? hah!
Also, unrelated to those trouble areas (Because I COULD just use patching compound there), I'd...
Yeah, I may not even waste my time looking for such a trivial thing.
Any other suggestions? I can't tell if my application is indoor or outdoor. I also can't tell if it's a wear surface (I will coat it with something, but). I really just wan to smear a thin, thin layer of something all over...
