Looking to source 2’x2’ porcelain tile in black and white

I used ceramic tile on my floor 12 years ago. I moved from that house four years ago and did a huge amount of wrenching there> Dropped and spilled everything you can imagine. No cracks and the floor cleaned up like new when I moved.

    MaxJax

The heaviest car I lift with the MaxJax is an 4.2, Audi Q7. 5,250lbs. No problems. If you have a high enough ceiling to go full height, AND don't need to move a column, AND have a vehicle that weighs more than 6,000lbs, I would go with something else. If not, the MaxJax works great.

How do you change your oil?

I have 4 cars. 2 Audi's and 1 Mercedes get the oil vacuumed out. The Jag as a valve on the drain plug. Vacuuming gets all the oil out. I did the test years ago, vacuum and then pull the plug. I got drops out of the plug. What I love about using the vacuum method, is the ease. Warm the...

    MaxJax Tilt

I'm surprised there's not much interest in it. Not quite sure what the use case would be. Is the tilt to give more access?

MaxJax Transport, Install, Impression, and Comparison

There is a discussion on another thread that says epoxy anchors may not be stronger than wedge anchors. https://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=417034&highlight=maxjax&page=3 Just thought I'd throw this out there. I thought it was an interesting read. I used the wedge anchors...

    Maxjax vs quick jacks

I also move one of my Maxjax posts after most uses. I have a 2 car garage and with the lift installed, my wife can't get her car in, so, I have to move the post when not working on a car. It's pretty easy to move an set up. Takes maybe 10 minutes.

Do you think most of the problems was from the shipping company?

    Any Maxjax sales?

I've had my original MaxJax for over 3 years now and it has done all that I needed very well. I have used it to remove a transmission, rear and front end, and many other projects. Wish I had the MX6 with the stops.

    car lift on a budget

I'm not sure I understand this. The OP said he needed a lift to get four wheels off the ground to do brake jobs and such. You don't need to walk under the car for that.

Peace of mind under a Maxjax

I just don't see how there would be a problem using the bar after the car is lifted, then removing it before lowering as the OP said. I'm not an engineer :)

Are you happy with your MaxJax

I'm not sure how you guys are measuring this stuff. I have a MaxJax in a garage that is 8' 6" high. My smallest car is a Mercedes SLK, which is pretty small. At full lift, I am about 5" from the ceiling. A ceiling height of 10' would not get this car up 6'. My Cadillac SRX cannot get to...

Garage floor tiling advice / thoughts

I'm not sure how best to treat the cracks. I think they should be dealt with in some way. Procelain is best but others have done ceramic and it has worked out fine. Be sure to check the slip resistance on the tile. A clean and grease free floor is a must. I did abrade mine with a Dima...

Porcelain tile install, thanks for the info

Yeah, I think I used Mapei for the grout and Flexbond for the thinset. I have spilled so much fluid on this floor and it cleans up in a second. I used regular grout in a dark gray color. Can't see any stains from the spills.
