Tools that you wish weren’t discontinued

Long Snap-On hard handle 1/2 drive ratchet. They started making the flex head 3/8 and 1/4 hard handle, but as of yet no 1/2 drive sighting.

Thoughts on the Mac axis line ratchets

I've only used the 1/4" and 3/8" version of the Snap-On but I agree. The Snap-On tend to stick and require you to move the head of the ratchet to release tension and give it play before you can enable the locking mechanism. No problems out of the Matco 88's.

    Longest 1/2" Ratchet?

Not trying to bash on Mac but stay away from this ratchet. Go with Matco's 88 instead. Maybe just a one time quality control issue but my buddy's failed after the first time he tried to use it. See the "Mac" thread in the General Tool Discussion. But after about $220 you'll never have to buy...

Monster makes some of the best lights ever!!! I've had mine for over two years and its still going strong. Very underrated lineup for lights. Never used any of there other stuff, but their lights are solid!

    very good quality sparkplug socket??

Have the same set and absolutely LOVE them! I think they're rebranded GearWrench or atleast made by the same company so I'm sure you can find it cheaper than the $150 I paid off the truck for them.

Found it! Thanks for the quick reply on that RIP. It's the perfect weekend to go pick one up too, at least I'll have somewhat of an excuse when the old lady ask what I bought this time. :lol_hitti
