Where do people usually buy their Wright tools?

I think all mine were bought at Hartville Hardware which just happens to be very close to both Wright and Summit here in NE Ohio.

    Unbranded USA sockets?

I have USA Craftsman and Masterforce sockets that look identical with the double detent so I would agree with them being Danaher/Apex.

    Who makes Wright's socket rails?

They're the same as the Husky rails sold at Home Depot and I believe SK has green ones for select socket sets but I don't believe they actually are made in the USA. To me it looks like the "Made in USA" is part of the Wright Tool stamp to signify that Wright Tools are USA made and not the...

The Snap-on vs. Harbor Freight Debate - taken to a new level

I like Snap-On. I think they make really nice tools. Plus they have a huge selection with a lot of neat specialty stuff. Some of their stuff is worth the extra price. I don't even bother with the other tool trucks because I don't think their tools are worth the cost compared to what Snap-On...

Quality Torx T4 bit or screwdriver?

I have the Wiha 75965 precision bit set and it's come in handy for quite a few things at work. If you're only using it for a single cell phone this might be a bit pricy. However, if you could see a need for other small bits for other things this is a nice set.

    pronouncing "Hazet" and "Stahlwille"?

I'm pretty horrible when it comes to pronunciation in my native English let alone other languages. I usually think of Hazet as HA ZIT and Stahlwille as STALL WILL. I pronounce Knipex with a silent K like knife or knight. Probably wrong but aside from Knipex nobody I know even knows these...

    The Milwaukee addiction thread! :)

Today I picked up the 2475-20 inflator and I gotta say it's a nice little unit. I don't like messing with my air compressor due to the noise and getting it out of its corner and dragging out a hose etc just to air up some tires so I thought this would be a nice alternative. I like that it has...

    Wilton 75th Anniversary

Can't believe they still have these available. I was looking at getting one of these two years ago but never did. Since then I've been looking at different vises such as the Rigid F-series as well as some of the cheap ones available in stores but decided that I should just get a good one such...

    Rescue Tape

At my job it goes by the name "F4 tape". It works pretty well- at least the stuff we get. For aircraft use we use it for wiring as well as air ducts to protect from chafing, rubbing, clamp damage, etc... It doesn't get used super often but it has its place. Not sure what to use it for around...

    Craftsman is at Lowes

I don't typically go to Lowe's but next time I do I'll see what they have. Last time I was there was about a month ago and they didn't have any CM yet. Not that I need any more tools at the moment but I'm curious to see how well they do and what new stuff they come out with.

    Socket set

I would think that just about any brand would work fine for most people except for the absolute worst-of-the-worst no-name brands. Brands such as Tekton, GW, Duralast, Carlyle, Kobalt, Husky, CM, Masterforce, Crescent, Dewalt, etc would be fine. Find something you like at a price point you...
