We use both in our shop. The only issue we've had is the amphenol pin locks are much looser in tolerance meaning they can be difficult to remove esp when using them in Deutsch connectors.

Kind of expensive, but at work we have a Blue Pneumatic rivnut tool. Takes literally 3 seconds to install a rivnut.
