looking for variable speed jigsaw to cut metal.

I have a wood blade in mine right now. Big box stores don’t carry wood blades (at least around here) but they are available online. Sent from my iPad using Garage Journal

looking for variable speed jigsaw to cut metal.

I think you may be happier with a hand held bandsaw and a table to mount it on. My Milwaukee portaband and a Swag table is perfect for metal and it has variable speed. Sent from my iPad using Garage Journal

    Sourcing 18v batteries

I just bought 2 Urun 5.0 ah 18 volt batteries from Amazon. About half the price of the Makita equivalent. They are compatible with the Makita chargers. I use them in the 36 volt chainsaw. No issues so far.

I bought a Plexidor online. It is double doors with brush seals. They are not cheap, I paid about $300 7 or 8 years ago. I would buy another.

Best Attic Ladder and Horror Stories

I bought a wooden Werner with 1X6 tread and I am very happy with the product. It is much more rigid than the cheap ladder the builder installed.

    Garage Envy - Personal experiences?

I have these also. I bought 2 from Costco and the rest from Sears. I am happy with the product. These will not be confused with Lista but they are a step above the cabinets carried by the big box stores.

    Metal Cabinets from Northern Tool

I bought 2 of the Maximum Garage Cabinets (36 X 80)from Costco online. They are similar in price to the cabinets you are looking at Northern Tool. The Costco cabinets are black melamine with gray MDF doors. These cabinets have 4 inch metal legs, so you can sweep under them. They are a step...
