    snap ring pliers....

I got the new ICON series snap ring plier set from HF for $50 a while ago. I've used them a few times and they seem well built and are very grippy. Sent from my moto g(7) power using The Garage Journal mobile app

New ICON 8 pc Snap Ring Plier Set

I got that set after breaking my Channellock snap ring pliers on a Gillig 40’ transit bus S-cam snap ring. The next time I had to take one off I used my new set and it worked like a charm! They are very good for 50 bucks...

Dang, you broke 3 snappy torx bits????? I’d be pissed if I paid retail for those... I do have some snappy stuff personally but I don’t think their sockets are really that much better than the Craftsman ones I’ve got and I have SK and Proto wrenches that I think are better imho.

    Parts washer fluid

To be honest I’d just use off road diesel if you can get it in your area, or regular diesel instead. It’s a VERY good solvent and will get all kinds of nasty grease off off just about anything.

    What's the story with Neiko?

After looking at their stuff on amazon I believe they are the OEM for some Tekton stuff to be honest. I actually have their 3/4 drive SAE impact socket set and the sockets feel pretty good and it was like 40 dollars less than the Tekton one and it had the exact same case and type of laser...
