One thing you can do with the drum switch is run the low voltage for the VFD direction through the drum switch, that way you can use the drum switch to switch forward and reverse like it was originally used for.
Hopefully, the wife bought me a sandblasting cabinet, she'd love to see me actually use it. But the vise works, so I'll bolt it to the bench and use it to restore my grandfather's Cletrac crawler.
I have 14 of the Costco LED's in my 26x36 shop. I love them, they are pretty bright and should be brighter when I paint the walls white. Best upgrade I did in there. I think each one draws .4 amps so I am pulling around 6 amps. Instant on in the winter too. I am buying 7 more to line down...
Looks like a knockoff of these guys. I've had their plans for over 10 years but life has never given me time to start one.

Finally I have a question I cannot find an answer to.
I have the opportunity to get 12 T5HO light fixtures from work for free. They are 480v and have 6 bulbs per fixture. I only have 240V single phase at home but I am building a small rotary phase converter to power a mill I may also be...
Shortened my new to me 2 post lift and got the posts stood up. It sucked doing it alone with only a skidloader.
Disregard the mess, I am shooting for messiest shop of the year.
