    Need advice on impact sockets

    I purchased a set of genius 42pcs 3/8" impact set. They offer 2 different kits and one is co-moly and a tad more expensive. Its very complete, wall thickness in on the thick side, but for the money its hard to beat. Sunnex would also be a good choice for the money.

    They make mufflers that can be added to help limit db levels. As long as you have some type of vent with maybe a small fan to remove hot air during the hotter months, the closet idea will work fine. You could set it up on a thermo switch to turn the fan on when temps get up past a set point...

    No sh-t, I was helping my father grind some stripped nuts and he has a 4.5" HF grinder and holy sh-t my hands felt like they were going to fall off from the vibration.:willy_nil

    Craftsman mid-deep sockets?

    That is one of my bigger complaints with some of the lower priced socket sets. The skipping of common sizes is an issue for me. Alot of times is it a commonly used size like 16mm or 19mm ect. Don't get it either

    I've not ran into this with our dealer, but have had the screws loosen over time. drop of loctite and run them back in, no issues after.
