You guys that have the Craftsman metric mid-deep socket sets...does your set have the 9mm and/or the 19mm sockets?

My 3/8" drive set has 11mm through 19mm, inclusive.
I bought them used, without a rack, so I don't know what constitutes a full set.

I think a "complete" Craftsman 3/8" drive metric set would look like this:
-17 06 pt. shallow - 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22
-15 12 pt. shallow - 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 21
-11 06 pt. deep - 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19
-13 12 pt. deep - 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 21, 22
-11 06 pt. mid-depth - 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19

However, I'm interested in the MID-DEPTH (or mid-deep) sockets.

AFAIK, Craftsman marketed the metric mid-depth sockets in a number of different sets:

1) 9 piece set included 10, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19

2) 20 piece set included 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19 + 9 SAE mid-depth sockets

And I think...

3) 18 piece set (part of a larger mechanics set) included 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18 + 9 SAE mid-depth sockets

Just looked at my set that was sold to me out of a bigger set....10-19 and 9 SAE. I never could find any other metric Cman sockets.

That is one of my bigger complaints with some of the lower priced socket sets. The skipping of common sizes is an issue for me. Alot of times is it a commonly used size like 16mm or 19mm ect. Don't get it either

A co-worker used to refer to mid-depth sockets as "tweezers"... As in between standard and deep well. Does Craftsman still offer them?

looking at an old 1998-1999 Craftsman Tool Catalog shows "NEW" Mid Length Socket Sets.

Set number 43218 got you a 9 piece SAE set that ran 3/8 to 7/8.

Set number 43219 got you a 9 piece metric set running 10, 12, 13-19mm.

Each set listed for $19.99.

Individual mid length sockets weren't sold individually at that time.

Complete sets are often in the eye of the beholder, the manufacturer, or for OCD people, the pegs on a Hansen rack. :lol:
