    I`m not looking to restore it just yet or at all. I want to get it functional & use it. It would be a shame to just let it sit like it has been. As far as the vise goes, I use them daily. They are a must have in the shop! I have people always asking for one of them. its crazy!

    found a couple with the drum on still. It was all stuck but, a little mystery oil & everything loosened up & came apart.

    OLD Charles Parker Vise

    I don`t know a lot about Parker vices but I have about 5 of them or so. I got them all from a old machine shop were my father worked for 40 years & I as well for 2. I got them when they went out of business. They are by far ,the best vices I have ever used & made rite here in CT! Ive got one...
