Help identify this old Brake drum cutting tool

I recently found & bought this old brake drum cutting tool. I `m thinking its from the teens or early 20`s. There is a cast iron base with the words "patent pending" cast in one leg. Its very well made, has all slot screws or square head adjusting screws . Its got brass knobs ,machined parts ,gears ,oiler`s through out. Its real cool but ,I know nothing about it. I actually have some of it figured out & got it to rotate. The machine actually came with a drum on it with half the wooden spoke wheel still attached. I found out were it came from & was told out of a old shop that had closed 60 or so years ago! If anyone can identify the maker or name of this tool that would be great. It also came with more pieces & some kind od measuring device. Look at the pics .

found a couple with the drum on still. It was all stuck but, a little mystery oil & everything loosened up & came apart.

That is very cool! Most early brake drums were very thin, and I didn't know that anyone tried to turn a worn one.

You need to restore that and mount in on that bench. Of course, there won't be room for that big vise just behind it, so you can just unbolt it and send it to me!

I`m not looking to restore it just yet or at all. I want to get it functional & use it. It would be a shame to just let it sit like it has been. As far as the vise goes, I use them daily. They are a must have in the shop! I have people always asking for one of them. its crazy!

I believe it teen`s or earlier. That seems to be what I`m hearing. I just don`t know who its made by or if theres any info on it somewhere. any help is appreciated!

So is there anyone out there that has any Idea who made this or where it came from? Its so cool it deserves to be back in action! Someone has to know an old timer that's not online & may have been around this type of brake lathe back in the day who can share some info!
