What is the point of a 12 point socket? Why do those exist. I always use 12 point ratcheting wrenches unless it's tight. Then I use a 6 point socket unless it won't fit. I have broke plenty of bolts free with the ratcheting wrenches I have where I thought for sure they would break. Reverseable...
