Are CAT sockets still Snap On/Williams?

i work for a Cat dealer, the hand tools for the most part are Snap-on or Williams, I'm sure there is some items that are not, if you look through the catalog on certain tools like the digital torque wrenches it says right in the listing to contact [email protected] for warranty, its great...

Should I wire a welder plug up to handle an EV?

the one experience i had was at a friends home, they had an electrician do a panel replacement and run a circuit for an EV charger, tesla in this case, they then installed a wall mount charger and just added a cord to plug it in, since its in a garage the outlet was protected with a GFCI...

i have the same set everyone else does i think its a craftsman set, might be MAC, has one one ever seen a longer version? i use mine all the time but sometimes a blind hole like a head bolt hole is to deep and i end using a tap instead, i have looked but never seen a longer version

i have a 30x40 shop i built about 7 years ago and did in floor heat, if i built another shop i would do it again, i love it. its silent i hate listing to a unit heater run. its heated from October to April at 60 degrees, i use to have an hour meter on it so i could monitor how much it ran, i...

    Chainsaw recommendation

i was in a similar situation needing a saw for occasional use but i did need to drop a few trees at the time but knew it wouldn't see a ton of use after that and landed on a Husqvarna 450 rancher. i know that bigger than what you're asking for but wanted to throw my 2 cents in that it hasn't...

    Sand blast cabinet doesn't work

i would guess as stated above also that its the media size, the walnut shell i have seen is much larger than glass bead or aluminum oxide media and just doesn't flow through the hoses in this style of blast cabinet. might try switching the media and see what happens.

    Air Compressor Pipe

other than the tool which i can rent, the fittings don't seem to be crazy, couple bucks more per fitting than sweat joints so i think for the ease of install its definitely worth it.

    Air Compressor Pipe

anyone done copper with press fittings? i have been looking at that, i would get it all installed and just rent the press tool. the interior is all finished and painted so would just prefer not to mess around with soldering all the joints

go to a local truck dealer, Peterbilt, Kenworth, International, Freightliner, trailer repair, or any truck parts supplier and they will have it all on the shelf and you can just buy the nylon tubing by the foot, its cheap and the fitting are just push together like a sharkbite and just attach a...

    4 post lift ????

i see the locks inside the column can be adjusted so when its locked it can be leveled, nothing i would personally ever be concerned with but that option is nice if you want it.

    4 post lift ????

you can adjust the cables at each corner to account for this on the wildfire lift. its part of the install when you're setting it all up i would think that would be standard on any lift so you can get it to raise evenly

    4 post lift ????

i had the same decision a couple years ago and went with Wildfire, I'm not sure what the big advantage is of the adjustable locks on the Bendpak, the lifts have locks every 6 inches or so i would think that would get you close enough for whatever you need. i prefer the regular locking setup over...
