Hey guys, Just about got my garage build finished up in my new construction home after 6 months being there. Fiance and I are.now separating. She is keeping the house and I'm trying to recoup some of the $12,000 I put into the garage. Also willing to part with some tools to pay down other debt...

    TrueLock PVC tile install

Looks great. I finally got my floor epoxied and will be installing the same cabinets this weekend. Did you try wall mounting any of the tall or bottom cabinets? I need to wall mount all mine and beefed up the double stud wall with tie plates. Hoping the weight holds.

    New metallic epoxy floor results

20-25 minute working time. Was able to apply 600sqft at once by myself. Mixed the two base light gray epoxy kits together at the same time in two buckets with two drills and spread at the same time. 24 inch squeegee from HD to spread and 18inch roller for single back roll. Then mixed and poured...

    Epoxy primer concern

Did you grind or etch? Let us know how it turns out. Going to coat in a week and a half if all goes well and would like to know how to proceed if I run into this problem.

    Floor grinding

When I say how little of dust kickup, I mean compared to the blurry cloud generated by the angle grinder and diamond grind. There's definitely dust that you need to account t for with a mask, but not enough where it's hazy. My clothes were barely coated after grinding the entire floor.

    Floor grinding

I had the same situation last week. Went to HD and rented the diamabrush and polisher. I knew from watching the diamabrush instructional use video that it could be used wet or dry. I planned on starting my epoxy coating the next day, so I decided to go dry because I didn't want to deal with the...

Epoxy prep questions - prep underway

I filled the divots yesterday afternoon and diamabrush before I returned the rental. Definitely have time to mop. The kit I have is measured appropriately to utilize all contents of each mixture. They also provided 7 gallon buckets, so I could add all 6 gallons of both full kits to one bucket if...

Epoxy prep questions - prep underway

I am a perfectionist lol. Went to mix the metallic color to let it sit and the pigment was way off. It was supposed to be white and turned out completely gold. So i called them and they're replacing with a light gray. Delivery is mid next week, so I have time to wash the floor now.

Epoxy prep questions - prep underway

Thanks for the info. I did vacuum then used the leaf blower and that's what the end results are. I may patch the divots, but skip the hairline cracks and go back over those spots tomorrow. Guess I'll have to try and dry brush to remove the white residue. Photos are at the link. Added them to a...
