Yea I think if you go back a few more years the boxes are about 16" deep drawers.

They are friction and sloppy def not a bearing drawer but sitting here drinking beer working drawers wearing off paint, then I'll take out each drawer and oil/grease should be golden. I know someone in the thread said what to use I beleive. I'll have to look back. I'm still laughing how shiny it is

They are! The cardboard box is stamped April ** 1987. I should of clarified. Matco company in itself told me the 9 series box was discontinued in early 90's

I meant to say that I was told tool boxes with the "A1" in the model number that the bottom drawers are roller bearing slides and the rest of the drawers friction. I will find out more and post pictures when I pick it up to clarify.! I only opened a few small drawers and top on top box when I...
