We used this for our kitchen counters. Really high quality and not very expensive. Has held up well to the usual kitchen abuse for over three years so far. I've been considering it for the top of my HF 56" box...
I much prefer oval head ratchets with the small lever for reversing -flick it with your thumb - as opposed to the round heads like the SK - takes one hand to hold the ratchet and the other to turn the reversing control.
^^^ We've had a Farm Boss for about 3 yrs. Great saw - does what it's supposed to with no problems so far. 8 acres - lots of oaks to trim. I'd buy it again.
I bought a HF 56" 2 weeks ago. Compares well to much higher priced boxes. Mine was on sale for $769. The packing/crating was top notch. Weighed 585 lbs - had to use the JD 460 loader and 3k lb. ratchet straps to get it out of the truck and into the shop.
I'd recommend this box without...
