You should go back and read my posts. AGM' s are the correct choice in some applications. But not all and most certainly not in a typical automotive application. But I agree this conversation with you is point less and it is time to move on.

So somebody damaged a battery and it is the batteries fault? It is such a rare occurrence for a new battery to be defective and leak that know there is an abuse issue somewhere. That is what is funny!

That's cool! Have never dealt with Edison batteries. Nickel iron? I think they still use them in some stationary applications.
