Help me out??? Stick built came in less the Pole? Pole has less lumber and less labor. Would love to know as I am about to start a project that's 1080sq ft and I thought the only way I could keep within my budget was pole.

I would go pole barn over steel building, in the looks department alone. From research the pole barn will be less to build as well.

Permits can be a real "erection" killer. Sorry couldn't help myself. I guess the silver lining was you didn't get it finished before the inspector came knocking.
