The reason I was asking is because I have this S-K Wayne box that has exactly the same measurements and I couldn't find any information on it, there were 1/2" sockets marks in the box for 10 sockets, the rest I filled in from similar boxes I found on eBay.
It measure's 2" x 3 1/2" x 17", which is bigger than a 1/4" & 3/8" set. I am pretty sure it is a 1/2" & 1/4" set, but I was trying to figure out what else went into it.
I have a couple of boxes that have the inside painted just like like the one you have, one has an almost perfect decal that has been painted over, and I have seen several more listed on eBay that looked the same, I wonder if is something that S-K did?
The reason I put that up there was to see if you noticed where the bit was stored, I have only seen about four of those sets that were complete and nobody ever had the bit where it goes in the illustration. It is kind of
confusing the way they made it.
The one with the double ovals was first used in 1964, the one that says S-K Tools was not used until after Dresser took over the company. They also used this one in 1968 while Symington Wayne still had control.
I scan every page of the catalog, then edit them and put them together in a PDF file. Go to the Internet Archive upload page to upload PDF file - https://archive.org/upload
