IMO ultrasonic machines are not really made for real greasy, oily parts cleaning. More suited to corrosion and light dirty parts cleaning.

Have you tried oiling the spring? Did mine and it took all the binding, clanging, jerkiness, and noise out of mine.

Ventless is a misnomer. If you are burning anything, be it NG, propane, etc there is ALWAYS the byproducts of combustion. There is no getting away from simple physics.

Sorry but you are wrong. Every garage door spring site recommends oiling the springs to reduce binding and increase life.
