    Awesome! Thank you. looked up some parts kits and they say to check the "Base casting number" where is that commonly located? inside the side rails, or on the cylinder itself?

    What threads are stripped? Piston is not damaged. It was removed before the pump rounded off. Piston slides easily from both ends. Sticks right at that circled spot.

    Best I can tell, is where it rounded off the outside, the piston will not pass on the inside. Looking through the bore at a light I can just see a spot that looks different in the light. Is the “flat spotting”?
