Just got back from a trip along coastal Maine. Saw some fun stuff and forgot to ask what the heck it was. So, any ideas? Totally forgot to ask the dealer. Brass object on wood handle- no idea. Hand forged item- maybe a hay hook or something? Thanks for taking a look!

First post on the Garage Journal site. I found some Starrett items in a wonderful handmade tool box. Most had model numbers, but a few items (see pictures) I can’t figure out what they are. The two long rods seem to have a cutter on the end. Any help with identification is much appreciated...
