    DIY 26'x40' detached build

Great looking build! This poor land starved fool is green with envy looking at your 26'X40' building. I was thinking I would be boss if I could punch out my 8'X10' shed to 10'X12' (max per code). It's funny in a sad way that some native Californians see my 55'X70' back yard and get all "WOW"...

    E-tek Restorations: PROJECT THREAD

^^^^^^ This is what I dream to have once that lottery thing kicks in LOL. I have just wasted nearly 2 days of the U.S. Government's time reading this entire thread, much of it for the second time. It inspired me enough yesterday to pick up the "starter kit" of POR15 to tackle the battery tray...

    Moving a classic 78

If you are worried about it rolling, put 2 or 3 2X4s under it to lift it off of the casters. Then strap it down.

    Story behind your toolbox?

I hope the statute of limitations has expired... Around 2000, I was an enterprising NCO at an Air Force Base in the final stages of BRAC (Base Realignment and Closure) process. Everything from hydraulic presses down to staplers and wall clocks were being given to the county. Some bean...

I am such an idiot!! But I have a clean engine

Wife was teaching night classes at a university 45 minutes away. After class she gets spooked by a weirdo on the way to the parking lot. Like a scary movie, now the car won't start. She calls me, tells me dome lights, head lights, wipers, radio, everything works, just won't start, not even...

    Best disposable garage gloves?

I picked up some blue nitrile gloves by Global Gloves. The dexterity seems good but I tore the hell out of several pairs while doing the rear drums on my car. Seems I sweat a LOT into the gloves though. My hands look like I have been swimming for hours when I take them off.

    Carpeted garage

We had a house with a carpeted garage when we moved in. During the wet Northern California winter, smell of what ever was dripping from the cars was just bad. It was also amazing that the dark blue nap was very effective at hiding nuts/bolts dropped there.

What does "GARAGE JOURNAL" mean to you?

I stumbled upon this forum searching for storage solutions. I come back due to the wealth and breadth of knowledge, creativity and downright awesomeness of people here. I liken this site to playing the lotto: I know I will never have a subterrainean lair below a supercharger filled garage...

1966 F100 EcoBoost Engine Swap (EcoBoosted)

I stumbled upon this thread and read it beginning to end about the time you posted "It may be your last". I feel no small amount of joy to see you are back in action and progressing with this incredible build. I'm not experienced at all, but this is the most amazing automotive feat I have ever...
