I like them because the banging of drawers/cupboards, etc. closing is enough to drive me insane. My wife just throws all kinds of doors shut and it triggers my misophonia something terrible. I push/pull doors on the house, car, and kitchen closed where she just gives them a toss and loud bangs...

Thank you! However, the sliding door is on the house, I was just showing that we extended the patio. It will eventually have a 3/4 bathroom of some sort and when I finally get HVAC in it it should be able to house some people on cots or air mattresses if need be.

Thank you! I’ve been to Oskaloosa many times. Unfortunately, I don’t have an answer for you as I didn’t really ask about it. I think the best bet would be to ask an insulation company or QSI. My plan was to do blow in and batts as well but I may end up doing spray foam so I can save money up...

Finally got the patio poured. Also did an extension on the back of the house. I’ve got a few things in the shop so far but I’m trying to wait until I get the SPGX down in the spring before I get it too full. Should also have electricity in the next few weeks. We put in a 1” conduit for comms...
