Is there hope for me, my craftsman jack release valve will not rotate and I need a new one.

I hope the pros on here can help, The model # 50186 not made any more I need the release valve only but sear wants to sell me the entire hydraulic unit. The issue I am having is when I rotate the jack handle the valve will not budge. Can I find a release valve.

I ordered a caliper from them and received prompt service, although I kinda pissed thta I have to pay for shipping in order to return my core unit

My craftsman release valve went kaput can anyone on here help me. http://c.sears.com/assets/own/00950139e.pdf that is the manual of the jack, the jack I have is a differnt model #50186 but I assume they are the same.
