With them being attached with the small chain, it makes me think it is some sort of valve wrench or plumbing tool. Since they are the same size, they must be used in conjunction with each other. It seems to be a very specific tool, and I like the oar lock idea.

I managed to disassemble one of the broken slides and it is laser etched "accuride", but from what i gather thats a popular slide. I should be able to mail it to them and have them rebuild it. I don't know the cost of a system like that, but I imagine it is not cheap. Camera's, a reciever and all the stuff to go along with it. I would get some wildlife cameras (Not sure what they are called). They couldn't be nearly as expensive or you could get a BUNCH more cameras for the same...

if you decide to do it, and your feed is from potable water, make sure you put a check valve on the feed. The water in the pipes will go stagnant and could leech back in to your drinking water...
