I live in Michigan so it can def get cold. The 3/4 of the block foundation will be exposed. It is build on a slope so the right side will be completely exposed and the left side buried. Most of the back will be exposed. Sounds like it is worth doing? Maybe also do the paneling on the top...

They already started. Using block wall, then they are putting re rod in inside the blocks and filling with cement.

i am going to heat the garage using a mini split system. I cant install it on the outside do to I am using the footings as a brick ledge and there isn't enough room.

I am building a 40 x 30 garage and we will have about 8 feet of block wall that will be filled and the garage built on top of it. Should i insulate the inside of the block wall before they fill it or just leave as is? Thanks!

In the stages of finalizing plans for the garage. I will have 3 9 foot wide garage doors on the front and one 9 foot on one side towards the back. That way i will have space for parking 2 cars sideways in back of the cars that are pulled in from the front. Total of 5 on the ground with option...

if i made it 40 wide and 30 deep and use 3 indiv doors could i put 2 cars parked in front of the 3 back to back? So a total of 5?

what do you recommend then for size? I want to be deep enough to put them front to back on each side and have a total of 4 lifts if I want.
