    Roll Bender

I'm trying to find a source for a cheap roll bender. My project needs will be 1/4" bar stock in long sweeping bends. Manual is fine for my application. I just don't want to spend a couple of grand on a simple project. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Gutters on garage filling with leaves. Ideas?

I bought it at a local supply house and put it on myself. Super easy. I don't remember exactly but I think it was about $4 or $5 a foot

    Le Roi Compressor

William, I'm very interested in the $200 phase converter as I already have a working 10hp 3 phase motor. Can you point me in the right direction on how to create one of these. Thanks for the help

    Le Roi Compressor

Wow guys... great info. FYI, the motor is rated at 27amps with 240 current. I like the idea of using a 5 or 7.5 hp motor with a smaller pulley. Franz, I love your idea with the selinoid and even in my feeble mind it makes sense that this would work. Kevin, I had no idea these were made in...

    Le Roi Compressor

Hey, so I figured I would revive this one from the depths. I did pick up this compressor back in April and its been sitting in my garage until I had time to work on it. It is a 2 stage compressor, powered by a 10 horsepower three phase motor. My research has come up empty trying to find any...

    Le Roi Compressor

Thanks for the info guys. I spoke to the guy yesterday. This is a horizontal stationary mount that has been used in a commercial 4 bay shop for the passed 4 years. He said it leaks a little oil, but other than that it works well. I will hopefully be picking it up on Friday. I'll let you...

    Le Roi Compressor

So I have the chance to pick up a Le Roi Compressor for free....yeah...free! I'm definetly going to get it, but I know nothing about this brand and all internet searches seem to come up with only their heavy duty, portable offering. All of these seem to be powered by small deisel engines. The...

this might sound dumb, but can you use body filler on alum. siding?

I know the adventure is usually the fun part of these types of projects, but you can still get new aluminum siding. Usually only run about $12 to $15 per peice. Check out this site. www.alcoahomes.com. There should be a distributor listing on there for your area.

    Snap-On rant

I have purchased all my tools from my local snap on guy. I don't work at a shop, these are simply my personal tools. He mails the stuff to me, and any time I break anything he will either meet me if I'm in the area or I can just mail it back to him and he will fix it no charge, Handles...

Wow, good to see all these local guys on here. I'm in Mechanicsburg quite often with work and long Island is just a bit over the river. We are hoping to be moving in in a week or two. I will snap somemore pics when we get in and try to keep you guys updated. Thanks for all the compliments.

Yeah, the roof is quite cut up. My wife thinks it gives it a unique look. It doesn't bother me much though considering I may never leave the garage. I have plans for 1 or 2 lifts in the two left bays. Not sure yet if I should keep one bay as a work bay and one for the lift. I will know...

Thanks for the complements guys. The garage is about 1000sq feet. The house is actually about 3800sq ft. All four bays are 13 foot ceilings. I will end up with a lift in at least one. I would have like to have about 15 feet but the design just didn't allow it. Here is a shot of the house...

I'm new to the board here and I have to say I thought I was the only nut case that took more pride in his garage than the cars that were in it. Well I'm about 3 weeks away from moving into the new house. Then I get to spend the next 6 month getting the garage the way I want it. This site has...
