Just bought a 18 pc. Set from Sears. Still stamped USA...

Getting the snap ring in wasn't the difficult part. Didn't even need needle nose for that. The hard part was getting the direction select to the center. I pressed the ball inside down with a flat-head screwdriver.

haha, you would think. i cant seem to get the gear back inside the head. The teeth are catching the side. I'm obviously missing a step, tahts why im asking!

That SK and Williams sure look nice. I've heard quite a bit of flack of craftsman on this board...and I do agree that their lower end ratchets are junk. But I'm still curious about that thin profile...I live less than 5 mins from local Sears, so it only makes sense to have craftsman sockets and...
