The top is 14 gauge steel, I just laid 2x6 scrap on top of the boxes and put the steel top on it for now until I have time to build by full steel frame! We do jetski parts and salvage and are coming into our busy season so it might be a project for next winter Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Depending on how much impact use it will get, it should do fine for you. Just have to wait a bit for it to catch up, but if it's for occasional use it probably won't bother you...
