    Impact wrench questions.

Milwaukee has many more mechanic specific tools than dewalt, and everyone has issues with battery durablity. In my expereience, outside of certain specific tools, the durability is mostly equivalent. I much preferred my battery impact over my pneumatic. The pneumatic is lighter and smaller, but...

Fully Welded Service/Utility Carts - are they stronger?

Speaking from personal experience, this forum is excellent at finding state of the art solutions, but really doesn't like the "good enough" solutions because there is always a "best". We've had several of those bolted together ones floating around my shop and they've worked well enough if you...

    Suggestions for a TPMS tool?

Those autel 508 and 508wf are super common on the used market. Many parts stores will give one to you if you order (20) MXSensors in a multi-pac, at least for commercial accounts. I've had the best luck through NAPA. I've sold several on ebay that came in those kits. Definitely makes those...

Any help on some detailed questions on using Autel scanners?

I do not have any experience with autel scanners, but my shops Snap-On solus edge can scan them out with an incorrect year. Biggest cross software job was diag on a 2014 VW routan, which was scanned as a 2014 Grand Caravan. We have also been able to scan a vehicle as an earlier model. If its a...

Snap on 1/4 ratchets bolts on top or bottom?

My long handle 1/4 snappy ratchet on its third rebuild kit begs to differ. Handle is still straight as an arrow, even after 3 broken square drives.

    Wheel weight pliers

Those wheel weight pliers can be very difficult to use. I usually have to concentrate on my grip, separate from the prying motion. I find my grip loosens and the pliers slip. I usually just go straight under the edge/far end with a screw driver and pry if they are fighting me that much though...

What tools do locksmiths use to program car keys?

I work as the key guy for a used car dealer. We use an Advanced Diagnostics SmartPRO to program all our keys, everything from proximity on higher end stuff to just remotes on GM vehicles. It works much better than the MVP Pro that we used previously. Its nice not having to look up what program...

ASTRO GIVEAWAY - Introducing the 65SL (The 40SL Successor)

I don't think there is a good replacement for it, but my Snap-On SHLL80AO ratchet would be nice if it cost a little less. Not having to worry about busted knuckles is worth it. Needed it last week for an oil filter cover on a Toyota Camry of all things. Same with tool organization, all those...
