Keep a bottle of Fast Orange on the shelf in the garage by the door to the house along with a roll of shop towels. Also have a bar of lava soap at the wash up sink in the half bath just off the garage where I strip out of my greasy dirty work clothes and finish the clean up of my hands and arm.

I moved my freezer from the garage to my basement. I do have to go more steps but that's fine with me.

I always place jack stands on my Explorer when I am changing oil. I never work under a vehicle without jack stands. If changing oil or the starter, i jack it up and then place the stands at secure points that I know will hold, then roll my hydraulic floor jack out so I can slide under.

I will admit to using S-K wrenches and sockets and they are over 50 years old. They don't show much rust. I usually wipe them down after use and put them back in their original tool roll or box.

I always have a spare one and when one gets too small I pitch it and put the new one one. It's just not worth the risk. Even a 4" angle grinder can do a lot of damage if it flies apart.

around my area many people will put down asphalt millings, spray it with oil or diesel fuel, then rent a vibratory roller to pack it down. If it has any sun exposure it will get very hard. I would think you will probably have to spray it some as well to keep the grass/weeds down. It works...
