    Tools of Japan

It's honestly not an easy answer with Amazon due to how they stock things. If it's shipped from Amazon, basically they combine products from all sellers so who knows what you actually get. Say sellers A through C are legit. Seller D sells knockoffs with the same SKU. They can all be intermingled...

Surface Shield/Fluid Film/Wool Wax Sprayer Selection W/O Air Compressor

The spray cans work fine. I got the Woolwax 12 can kit with 24" extension wand and 360° nozzle before last winter. I was able to completely do my 4Runner (probably over did it). I did a quick touch up before this past winter and it held amazingly well. Did a few more cans for good measure...

Tool Nut Just sent out an Email with the new USA Milwaukee Pliers and Screwdrivers Pricing

If the tools are high quality and near the best in their category, pricing doesn't seem that bad.

    Please recommend a soldering iron

I'm a fan of the Hakko, I like the FX951 but that might be too much for you. If you won't use it a lot could look into T12 clones like from KSGER or others. TS100 is also a popular choice.

Box of disappointment, employer supplied toolbox.

Apparently all this thread is showing me is mechanic's are underpaid and work for ****** companies so they buy their own tools on top of being underpaid.

tools to keep in the vehicle

Don't really need to carry a whole toolkit in your car\truck. Maybe multi-bit screwdriver, pliers, adjustable wrench, hammer. It would be more important to have things like this -Jumper cables and\or jump box -Tools to change spare tire if you have one -Tire plug -Air compressor -Extra fuses...

Calibrating made in USA Gearwrench\Huskye torque wrench

Are these made in USA Gearwrench/Husky torque wrenches able to be calibrated? Anyone ever do it? I'm assuming if you get the plastic handle off there is probably a cap at the end that you can unscrew. The plastic handle is on there pretty good and doesn't seem to want to come off too easily...

    Imagine not having tools.

Older generations always complain about the younger generations yet seem to fail to realize their generation is the one responsible for raising them.

Harry Epstein 6 Piece USA File Set

Was just looking at this, it includes a 14" Black Diamond Hoof Finishing Rasp. Is a hoof finishing rasp acutally useful for anything other than horses hoofs? 6 Piece USA File Set

    "New" Tekton pliers?

Tekton has a newish line of pliers made in Taiwan. Not sure when they were actually released. Appears to be some needle nose, mini pliers, and a couple of cutting pliers. Anyone use\try any of them? My first assumption is they are probably similar quality to the Harbor Freight Doyle pliers. I...
