Did you happen to price that same sized building as a stick build with a footer? We are in the process of planning a 60x100 machine shed/shop and found that the footer/stick built buildings are coming in at a comparable price to the pole barns. Jim

We used 2x12 16 OC when we added the 12'x48' loft to oru barn. There is absolutetly NO way we'd attempt to use 2x4's, they just don't have the load bearing strength. Jim
