Took a little while, but I got my Reznor UDAP 45 all done. I scratched my head for a while trying to decide how to mount it as there is no attic space above the ceiling to hang the heater with ready-rod. I deck-screwed 2x4's along the wall 1-1/2" down from the ceiling. Then, I mounted 2x4's...

Even with all the wide open space in Alberta, all the new houses are crammed together. Most houses are built about ten feet from the neighbouring house. I'm always jealous to see how nice and spread out the homes are in the States.

I used 1/16" aluminum checkerplate on the walls and 1/8" on the door threshold.

22x22 cost $800 (four 17x7.5 ft rolls at $200 each)

I just used PL400 glue since the plate was also supported by the step wall.
