Need advice for an electric nail gun

I appreciate the advice/solution, but it seems like most of the folks here know a lot more about tools than I do, quickly figured out what I'm really asking, and gave me good advice. I've now already ordered and received a Ryobi P325 One+ cordless 16g finish nailer. The one I ordered didn't come...

Need advice for an electric nail gun

Reply from my father regarding use case and additional information: I would only use it for light duty such as fastening trim. Cordless with battery is fine for this, or corded is also good. I want to avoid pneumatic.

I don't, but I'll ask and report back. I won't have more information until the morning, unfortunately.

Need advice for an electric nail gun

Thanks. I could actually tell the pictured product was trash. It looks like something that's made in China. That's the main reason I started this thread-- I want to get my dad something higher quality. This is just completely outside of my wheelhouse. I will take a look at Dewalt's offerings. I...

Need advice for an electric nail gun

Looking for a corded tool. I just fixed my post. Thanks for the heads up. The Amazon link goes to a 2-in-1 product that is both a staple and nail gun.

Need advice for an electric nail gun

My father wants a nail gun for Christmas. He sent me a link to an Amazon product that is not for sale (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BFB8WH5J/?tag=atomicindus08-20). I'm wondering what a much better brand of nail gun with the same functionality would be. I've been looking at DeWalt and Ryobi, but...

Shortest Knipex Diagonal Cutters & Needle Nose?

It's for a travel toolkit of mine. I've got some fairly small diagonal cutters and needle nose pliers already, but they're a little too big for my kit.

Shortest Knipex Diagonal Cutters & Needle Nose?

Thank you. I just ordered that set. I won't receive the tools until October 2 though.

Shortest Knipex Diagonal Cutters & Needle Nose?

Greetings, folks. I'm looking for the shortest Knipex needle nose pliers available. Same deal for diagonal cutters. I saw some 110mm diagonal cutters on kctool.com. I haven't been able to find a shorter pair anywhere. I'm wondering if a 100 or 105 variant exists. As far as needle noses go, I...

    Stone & Mortar Sealer Recommendations

First of all, that may be the most awesome swimming pool I've ever seen. Everything about is baller as hell-- the aesthetic, the view, and the right-next-to-it jacuzzi. Now that we've gotten that out of the way: you should be ashamed of yourself. Oil-based sealants contain VOCs (volatile...

    Digital Nomad Travel Tool Sets

I had a flight out of SeaTac yesterday and my tools got flagged for manual inspection. It didn't bother me because I was like eight hours early for my flight. The agent who was going through my stuff complimented me on the Knipex pliers and pliers wrench. Anyway, it probably added a two-minute...

    Digital Nomad Travel Tool Sets

Can you elaborate? I'd love to know what you mean by improving tools. I carry first aid stuff and hand sanitizer in a different pencil case. It's always good to have bandages, gauze, antibiotic creams, peroxide, and so forth. I've never needed the bandages, (although I've had to visit a number...

    Digital Nomad Travel Tool Sets

Yes. I used to fly with two pairs of scissors. I kept both of them in pen loops in my laptop case. When I was returning to the US from Costa Rica in December, Costa Rican security made me throw out one pair of scissors. I have no idea how they didn't spot the other pair that was like 5" away...

    Digital Nomad Travel Tool Sets

I have a little bit of an update based on some of the replies. To answer Odd-job, I work remotely for a b2b software company. I usually go to Latin America where the cost of living is super low, but I'll be heading to Portugal pretty soon. As far as ecotec's question goes-- yes, you can fly...

    Let's see your toolbox.

I actually have a super decent pair of KAI scissors (7170) that I've been keeping in my laptop bag. It's strange-- TSA won't let you have a knife, but you can have scissors as long as the blades aren't longer than 4" past the pivot. After making my post, I stuck the scissors in the same case to...
