Personally after 40 years experience snap on hand tools are better quality! Cordless is a different story tho,imo.ratchets especially exceed anyone elses.also impact tools(sockets)not air tools,i use ingersol rand.
Good to know that the matco 88 will fit! I also just bought a long 3/8"and it makes 5,84t and 2 120xp.as far as country of origin,i see a major diffrerence in gw's ratchet wrenches.i bought 2 new sets coo china.they will slip every now and then,and generic finish compared to my taiwan made.imo
I dont have the stanley,but do have 4 120xp's.imho i dont consider them a professional ratchet.maybe a step under but they do not compare to my snappy's.I also have a set of the steelman pro cobra ratchets! True 160 tooth.i use them just like my others no issues and less swing arc.under 2...
I have a 1/2" sk ratchet(diamond logo)pearhead shaped with a push button/lever on the side for direction.similar to the wright "frankenstein" ratchet.if i can figure out how to post a pic i will.but if this one sounds familiar,i'd be interested on there era.
Thanks fellas! It origially had 2 brass pins that fit into a compression sleeve on the shaft.i think i'm going to drill the pin out(where sheared from the 12v)and put a spring pin in.with either jb or devcon backup.
