Hi guys, lance here.I have a vintage sireno siren that has an aluminum impeller/brass shaft and nut.im not sure how it was bonded but the shaft broke loose from impeller as its 6v and my nephew hooked a 12v battery to it uggh! I need to know what type of epoxy would be the strongest for brass to aluminum? Devcon,jb,etc.? Thank you for any input in advance!

If you have close fitting parts, no significant gaps, a 2 part acrylic adhesive is extremely durable and strong. Just buy a small tube of Rearview Mirror Cement at the local autoparts store.

Thanks fellas! It origially had 2 brass pins that fit into a compression sleeve on the shaft.i think i'm going to drill the pin out(where sheared from the 12v)and put a spring pin in.with either jb or devcon backup.
